A Furry Update!

Hello Everyone! It's been a few weeks since we've shared an update with all of you! We sent out our wedding announcements a few weeks back and added this website on a bonus card! Through these crazy times, we wanted all of you to have access to what's new with us and what our plans are as we make them; so, thanks for being here!

As of now, we still don't have a sealing date picked but are doing our best to be prayerful and work with our Heavenly Father to pick one. We realize we may have to make some adjustments, such as how many people can be there, maybe what temple we are sealed in, and when we have our open houses for both states.

Troy and I are feeling a deep urgency to get to the temple. These times are uncertain and difficult; what better way to bring some certainty into our lives than to be sealed for time and all eternity, ridding the words, "until death do you part" from our marriage.

Casey has recently been experiencing a lot of back pain and going to physical therapy to hopefully change that - things are looking up! But, when she tweaked it one evening two weeks ago, we did end up at the ER. Everything turned out okay and we survived our first (of hopefully few) ER trip together at late hours.

We are both feeling very blessed to still be working and also filling our weekends with time together, even if that means staying up too late and sleeping in. We've ordered HelloFresh twice (thank you coupons) and have loved cooking new meals together!! We have gone on many treat runs, watched movies and many episodes of Heartland. We've enjoyed drives, listening to music, talking, laughing, growing, and learning together.

Aside from crazy times and choosing that special date, we welcomed a baby bunny, Bear, into our lives! He has so much personality! Our evenings now consist of dinner and then snuggling that cute little guy! He is the BEST bunny! Maybe we are a little biased, but seriously! He lets us hug him, kiss him, cuddle him, hold him like a baby, check his ears, etc. Haha, yes... he is maybe over-loved... but we just can't help it! We are so grateful to have our little guy!

Marriage is a whole new experience and it's the best one! We're learning so much about each other and ourselves. We are learning to work together and work on things individually to do and be better. Every day we are grateful to our Heavenly Father for the time He is giving us, on this earth, to be together and create our home and little family. We also thank Him daily for the good people, like you, in our life. We are blessed to have such wonderful people surround, inspire, and support us. THANK YOU!

More updates to come! But for now, enjoy some pictures of our cute little Bear! <3

  1. Dear little Bear (bigger now), I am so happy to have met you in person!! :) Your cuteness is truly overwhelming, your personality rocks and your soft, brown fur is a delight to behold/stroke. I resisted the urge to nibble your toes. ;) I know having strangers come in to stay with you was not the easiest thing, but you took it in your stride and did your best to behave, except for that irreverent noise you made during our one prayer. ;) You have some pretty clever hiding places and such a fun diet and exercise routine. Most of all, you have a loving Mommy and Daddy who spoil you (deservedly so), keep you safe, snuggle with you and love you as much or more than any bunny anywhere was ever loved. Please remember to do your best to use the litter box. You are one blessed furry critter! I miss you and I know Austin does, too. Love, Your PA (human) Grandma :) P.S. As you could tell, I like to call you Bear-a-Boo. ;) The pics are too cute!
